Ladies and gentlemen,
Indonesia is a big country and also really rich. We have millions of such natural resources from the sea, forest, mining, and many more. Indonesia is predicted to become one of the developed countries are able to take over the world. In fact, European countries often made the calculation that if the Indonesian people unite and work together to develop the country, Indonesia will become a superpower like the United States or Russia.
However, why until now Indonesia has not been able to become a developed country such as projected by European countries? Perhaps, our country does not have good human resources. However, I feel there is one thing that is at the core of all these problems. All the problems that we have is actually comes from corruption.
Of course, corruption makes our country into an unstable state and do not have a solid system. Financial devastated country, the development will be hampered, and eventually, the Indonesian people are not getting their rights. Indonesian people are very miserable; our country would not be good because of uneven development, poor distribution of education subsidies, and also obstructed the construction of public facilities.
Some of us may not feel the impact of corruption directly, but our friends who live in remote areas is so great to feel the impact of corruption. They could not cross the river because there was no bridge, they could not be educated because people away places to attend school, and they are not able to connect to the world because they do not have internet access. In fact, they do not have the same opportunities as those who live in big cities.
Then, how to cope with corruption in this country? How to remove corruption?
Ladies and gentlemen,
To remove corruption, we need more patience and work harder. We have to say to yourself to not take anything that does not belong to us. Corruption starts with stealing something small, and develop into theft with large amounts of money. Train us to be afraid to take something that does not belong to us, and continue to be grateful for the sustenance that has been given by God.
In addition to teaching yourself to continue to work hard and not take anything that is not right of you, we also have to educate our children to have an independent attitude, honest, and forbidding them to take other people’s stuff without permission.
